Job Description:
We are looking for a stylish, confident, and trend-savvy Fashion Consultant to join our team. As a Fashion Consultant, you will assist clients in enhancing their personal style, curating outfits, and making fashion-forward choices aligned with their preferences, body types, and occasions. Your insight will contribute to building customer loyalty and driving brand value.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting clothing, accessories, and jewellery that align with their personal style, needs, and current trends.
Provide personalized styling advice based on clients’ body type, complexion, and lifestyle.
Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, designers, seasonal collections, and brand promotions.Offer wardrobe planning and makeover suggestions for clients.
Collaborate with visual merchandisers to ensure store displays align with current fashion trends.
Support the marketing team with fashion tips, trend content, and styling ideas for campaigns and social media.
Maintain knowledge of inventory to make informed suggestions and upsell effectively.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Design, Retail, Marketing, or any discipline with a strong fashion interest.
Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, fabrics, cuts, and styling techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and connect with diverse client styles and preferences.
Good sense of color coordination, accessorizing, and wardrobe balance.
Previous experience in retail, styling, or fashion consulting is an advantage.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience in personal styling, fashion retail, or boutique consultancy.
Proficiency in body shape analysis and personalized styling techniques.
Experience using fashion styling tools or digital wardrobe platforms (e.g., Looklet, Stylebook).
Hands-on experience with visual merchandising or display coordination.
Basic knowledge of fashion photography and styling for photoshoots or e-commerce.
Content creation skills for social media (Instagram, Pinterest, Reels) with a fashion focus.
Customer relationship management skills, especially in premium/luxury fashion segments.
