Training Manager for Jewelry Sales

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to lead the training and development of our jewelry sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury retail, jewelry products, and sales techniques. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance product knowledge, customer service, and selling skills across all retail staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement training programs for retail sales associates, showroom executives, and new joiners

  • Conduct regular sessions on jewelry product knowledge (diamonds, gold, gemstones, certifications, etc.)

  • Train sales teams in customer engagement, upselling, cross-selling, and luxury sales techniques

  • Develop SOPs for showroom behavior, grooming standards, and customer service excellence

  • Evaluate individual and team performance through assessments, role plays, and feedback sessions

  • Coordinate with HR and Store Managers for onboarding and continuous development programs

  • Keep teams updated with the latest product launches, offers, and brand guidelines

  • Prepare training materials, manuals, presentations, and handouts

  • Monitor effectiveness of training via mystery shopping, KPIs, and customer feedback

  • Mentor underperforming team members and provide 1-on-1 coaching when required


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field

  • 3–5+ years experience in jewelry retail or luxury product training

  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse sales team

  • Fluent in English.
